Steven Barber Photography When image matters

Happy New Year

Firstly, may I wish you a very Happy New Year! I don’t think anyone is an any doubt that the year ahead is going to be difficult. I have certainly noticed a change in business patterns with some clients reducing their spend on public relations and marketing, some cutting it completely and others doubling it. The latter group have seen it as an opportunity to increase market share and this aproach seems to have paid off. Ultimately it will be the survival of the fittest and I plan on being one of them. To remain competitive, despite increased operating costs, capital investment and an additional mouth to feed, I have decided to freeze my rates for the fourth year in succession. For clients old and new, this means they will not have to find any extra in their budget for public relations, marketing and advertising photography.

My business aims remain as they always have been, to provide a high quality professional photography service at a reasonable price. The key to successful business is repeat business and I’m fortunate enough to have plenty of that. However, people move on and it is a constant battle to retain customers so I am very grateful to those who have supported me during the past 4 years and, as we go in to 2010, I would be interested how I can help you?
